This product is great, it  is the only folding space saving upright bar of its type available. It has been tested extensively over many miles in all weather conditions.

We have designed and manufactured this kayak rack bar specifically to fold down when not in use and to take up the minimum of space, which means that you can leave the bars on the roof of your vehicle at all times (just think what the benefits are- get into the garage/multi story car park, it looks better and there is less wind resistance & noise & when down I go through the car wash without problems).

If you need to carry one or more kayaks, canoes or surfboards on the roof rack of your vehicle you will find this type of space saving upright bar most useful. It allows you carry more by mounting the craft either on their bottom or sides. Surfers just imagine how many boards you could carry!

The bars are coated with black rubber padding to protect your equipment.

Our upright bars fit onto aero bars (with "T" slot) or standard square bars..

Supplied with "T bolts" for aero bars (slot minimum size 18mm wide x 2mm deep or use your own "T Bolts") & nuts & bolts for square bars (max width/height 45mm) so you can use it on both types !

 In the up position they are 450mm high, when folded only 85mm high!
