These V bars really do adjust to fit any shape hull, even if the front and rear of the kayak are different shapes, they will not damage the hull! Ideal for KI & K2 racing kayaks and sea kayaks.

The V bars will adjust from flat to almost vertical like upright bars, there are 5 different equal sided V possitions, you can also create any shape J as the two sides are independently adjustable.

The bars are black powder coated and have black foam rubber padding fitted so the kayak will be cushioned, each end has a D strap ring for securing the kayak.

The base of the V bars has the unique "kayakrack" fitting for aero bars, square & rectangle bars upto 45mm wide or thick.

Which ever vehicle you drive, car, van or minibus these bars will fit all vehicles.

In the upright possition (like upright bars) the V bars are 45cm high, when folded down they are only 8cm high so offer little whind resistance and only a little to the vehicle hight when not in use.

When you purchase this item you get what is in the picture-two sets of folding V bars and all the fittings, enough for one kayak (just add straps!).
